Get inspired - Richly coloured shapes
Wallpaper used for new purposes The wallpapers can also be used to bring colours to the interior decorations of your home: Put wallpaper on a table and lacquer it afterwards. Make richly coloured shoe boxes, photo albums, and books, or use wallpaper as liner or mirror frame.

Decorative boxes

Shoe boxes covered with different wallpapers

Step by step:

  1. Cut off a suitable big piece of wallpaper.
  2. Place the box on top of the paper and indicate the four corners of the box on the paper.
  3. Move the box and place a ruler on one of the corners.
  4. Make a straight cut all the way out.
  5. Place the ruler on the other side.
  6. This time allow a few extra cm on all corners.
  7. Put glue or wallpaper glue on the entire piece of wallpaper.
  8. Start by placing the two sides with the extra cm.
  9. Bend the corners and place the other two sides.

On the lamp shade

If you cannot find a lamp shade that goes well with your home, it is easy to paper a white, ready-made shade.

Unroll the wallpaper so that the reverse is upwards and place the lamp shade on the wallpaper. Roll

the shade across the wallpaper and at the same time draw the outline of the shade. Cut out the wallpaper along the lines + 2 cm extra on top and bottom. Dilute  (nævn Flügger-produkt + DAY produkt) with a drop of water. Apply the glue on the shade with a soft brush and place the wallpaper on the shade. Make sure that the wallpaper is completely smooth. Continue for a while by rubbing the shade with your hand to make the wallpaper lie absolutely smooth. The glue will dry in 10-15 minutes. When the glue is completely dry, trim the wallpaper on top and bottom of the shade.

On the table

Transform the ordinary table to a fine little table by means of spray glue, matt (Flügger-produkt + DAY product), 150 cm wallpaper, and a hobby knife. Place the wallpaper so it covers the table. Lift the wallpaper in one side and spray on the glue. Put the wallpaper back and smooth it out with your hand or a hard brush. Lift up the rest of the wallpaper and spray the glue on the table. Smooth out and glue on the rest of the wallpaper. Let the wallpaper dry for half an hour. Trim the paper in the bottom and along the sides. Cut out the holes in the sides with the hobby knife from the inside. Finally, the table should be lacquered two times with an interval of two hours. The wallpaper shown is from:
